Description
This year 6 spelling revision PPT based lesson will help year 6 students recap prefixes and suffixes content that is included within English appendix 2 of the National Curriculum. The 16 slide PPT contains explanation, examples and exercises as well as opportunities for discussion.
In addition, a mini- assessment containing five SATs style questions linked to prefixes and suffixes is included with an accompanying answer sheet. This will help pupils reinforce their understanding of prefixes and suffixes and understand how questions linked to the topic might be presented on the KS2 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling test.
