This year 6 grammar revision lesson will help year 6 pupils revise simple past and present perfect tense. The 13 slide PPT contains explanation, examples and exercises as well as opportunities for discussion.
In addition, a mini-assessment containing five SATs style questions linked to simple past and present perfect is included with an accompanying answer sheet. This will help pupils reinforce their understanding of these tenses and understand how questions linked to the them might be presented on the KS2 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling test.
